Lockdown in the Holy City

After almost two full years, The Old City of Jerusalem was still lacking the pilgrims and tourists that made it the vibrant and wildly crowded city it typically was. Moving slowly and carefully, I found the pictures that expressed this unique time in history.

Life was waiting to spring back to motion at a moment’s notice. But still the people were unsure and insecure as to when that moment would be. I sat with them, I talked with them, I prayed with them and I photographed them.
