Tidal Salt Marshes

I’m standing at the edge of the bay, trying to not let my boots sink too deeply into the wet sands. I’m here to witness and capture the mystery that I see, the connection that I feel and the changes that are evident each time I photograph.

Most intriguing are the different shades of light in the water created by the organisms and micro-algae living in it as well as the reflections of the sky and the clouds. I work to convey the stillness here that is unmatched in the bustling metropolis nearby.
